Responsible Gaming
at mineph

Gaming should always be fun — never stressful, never compulsive. mineph is committed to giving every Filipino player the tools, information, and support they need to stay in control and keep it enjoyable. Because winning is sweeter when you play smart.

Strictly 21 Years and Above Only — PAGCOR Regulation

Your Player Protection Toolkit

mineph gives you hands-on tools — built right into your account — to manage how, when, and how much you play

Deposit Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps to make sure you never fund your account beyond what you're comfortable with. Limits take effect immediately and can only be tightened within the same period — never loosened on the same day. Your budget, your rules.

Loss Limits

Define the maximum amount you're willing to lose in any given day, week, or month. Once your loss limit is reached, mineph will automatically pause your play for that period. It's a no-judgment safety net — useful for everyone, not just those in crisis.

Session Time Limits

It's easy to lose track of time when you're in the zone. Set session time limits and mineph will send you a notification when your playing time is up, then lock further play for that session if you choose. Breaks refresh focus and improve decision-making.

Cooling-Off Period

Need a short breather? Activate a cooling-off period of 1 to 6 weeks. Your account stays open but all gaming and deposits are paused. Perfect for players who feel they need a quick reset without going through full self-exclusion.

Self-Exclusion

For players who feel they need a longer break, mineph's self-exclusion program lets you suspend your account for periods ranging from 6 months to permanent closure. During exclusion, you cannot re-register or access gaming. This is the most powerful tool we offer — and we take it seriously.

Reality Checks

Enable periodic reality check pop-ups that show you exactly how long you've been playing and your net session result. No surprises, no guesswork — just clear, honest data delivered during your session so you can make informed decisions about whether to continue.

Age Verification Policy

21+ Is Non-Negotiable at mineph

Under PAGCOR regulations and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Act, only individuals aged 21 years and above are legally permitted to participate in online gaming in the Philippines. This is not just a company rule — it's Philippine law, and mineph enforces it strictly.

Every new mineph account goes through age verification using government-issued Philippine IDs — including PhilSys national ID, passport, driver's license, and UMID. We also conduct ongoing monitoring to detect any attempts to circumvent age checks.

If you suspect that someone under 21 is using a mineph account — including a family member — please contact our support team at [email protected] immediately. We treat all underage gaming reports with the utmost priority.

Verification Documents We Accept
  • Philippine System (PhilSys) National ID
  • Philippine Passport (valid or expired within 5 years)
  • Driver's License issued by LTO
  • Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID / SSS / GSIS)
  • PRC Professional Regulation Card
  • Voter's ID / COMELEC ID
  • Senior Citizen ID (if 65+ player)
Parental Controls & Household Safety

If you share a device or household with minors, we strongly recommend keeping your mineph account credentials private, enabling two-factor authentication (2FA), and using device-level content filtering to prevent underage access to gambling platforms.

Know the Warning Signs

Responsible gaming starts with honest self-awareness. These are the signs that play may be becoming a problem

Chasing Losses

Feeling the urge to keep playing to "win back" money you've lost is one of the clearest signs of problem gambling. Losses are a normal part of gaming — chasing them almost always leads to bigger losses, not recovery.

Playing Longer Than Planned

Consistently playing past your intended stop time, missing meals, sleep, work, or social commitments because of gaming sessions is a major red flag. Healthy gaming fits into your life — it doesn't take over it.

Using Essential Funds for Gaming

If you find yourself using rent, grocery, utility, or family money for gaming deposits — or borrowing money to fund play — your gambling has moved beyond entertainment into dangerous territory that needs immediate attention.

Emotional Dependence on Gaming

Turning to gaming when stressed, anxious, bored, or depressed — or feeling irritable, restless, and unable to relax when not playing — suggests gaming has become an unhealthy coping mechanism rather than a leisure activity.

Hiding Gaming from Family

Lying to family members, friends, or colleagues about how much time or money you spend gaming, or feeling ashamed or secretive about your gaming activity, indicates that you already know something is wrong.

Failed Attempts to Stop

Repeatedly trying and failing to cut back or stop gaming on your own is a strong indicator of gambling disorder. This is not a willpower problem — problem gambling is a recognized health condition that responds well to proper treatment and support.

Quick Self-Assessment

Answer these questions honestly. If you answer "yes" to two or more, it may be time to use one of mineph's responsible gaming tools or speak with a professional.

01

Have you ever spent more money on gaming than you originally planned or budgeted for?

02

Have you ever borrowed money — from family, friends, or a lending service — to fund your gaming?

03

Has gaming ever interfered with your work, studies, or family responsibilities?

04

Have you tried to stop or reduce your gaming and found it difficult or impossible?

05

Do you ever feel anxious, irritable, or restless when you're not able to play?

06

Have you concealed the extent of your gaming from people who care about you?

07

Do you find yourself thinking about gaming frequently when you're doing other things?

If you answered "yes" to 2 or more questions, mineph strongly encourages you to use our self-exclusion or deposit limit tools, and to reach out to a support professional. You're not alone — help is available, and getting it is a sign of strength, not weakness. Contact our support team at [email protected] anytime.
Self-Exclusion Program

How to Activate Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is the strongest responsible gaming tool available at mineph. Once activated, your account is suspended and you will be blocked from creating new accounts for the duration of your exclusion period. Available exclusion periods: 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, and permanent.

During self-exclusion, mineph will also suppress all promotional emails and communications to your registered contact details. Your account balance will be preserved and accessible for withdrawal before exclusion is confirmed.

01
Log In to Your mineph Account

Access your account via the mineph Login page. Make sure you're logged in on a secure, private device before proceeding with account settings changes.

02
Navigate to Responsible Gaming Settings

Go to your Account Dashboard and select "Responsible Gaming" from the main menu. All limit-setting and exclusion tools are housed in this dedicated section.

03
Select Self-Exclusion and Choose Your Period

Click on "Self-Exclusion," review the terms, and select your preferred exclusion duration: 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or permanent. All options are treated equally — none is "too extreme."

04
Withdraw Your Balance (Optional)

Before confirming exclusion, you'll be prompted to withdraw any existing balance. Withdrawals are processed normally. Any unclaimed balance will be held securely for your return (for non-permanent exclusions).

05
Confirm and Receive Confirmation

Confirm your self-exclusion request. You'll receive an email confirmation immediately. The exclusion takes effect within one hour. If you need immediate help, contact 24/7 live support to expedite the process.

Self-Exclusion Cannot Be Reversed Early

mineph takes self-exclusion seriously. Once confirmed, your exclusion cannot be reversed before the end of the selected period — even if you request it. This is by design, and it's how we make self-exclusion genuinely effective. For permanent exclusion, the decision is final with no reversal option.

Tips for Keeping Gaming Fun

The best mineph sessions are the ones where you stay in charge. Here's how to keep it that way

Set a Gaming Budget Before You Start

Decide how much you're comfortable spending before you open the app — not during a session when emotions run high. Treat your gaming budget the same way you'd treat a night out: fixed, pre-planned, and separate from essential expenses like rent, groceries, or your kids' school fees.

Take Regular Breaks

Stand up, grab some water, and step away every 30 to 45 minutes. Extended gaming sessions reduce decision quality and make it harder to stick to limits. Short breaks reset your perspective and help you evaluate whether you actually want to continue — or just feel like you should.

Play for Fun, Not to Solve Problems

Gaming is entertainment — it's not a financial strategy or an emotional escape hatch. Playing to relax after a long day at the office in Makati is healthy. Playing to recover rent money or escape family stress is where gaming becomes harmful. Know the difference and act on it.

Review Your Gaming History Regularly

mineph shows you a full history of your gaming sessions, deposits, and outcomes. Make it a habit to review this monthly — the same way you'd check a bank statement. Patterns of escalating deposits or loss chasing are much easier to spot in data than they are in the moment.

Play Smart. Play Safe. Play mineph.

Gaming at mineph should always feel like a good time — controlled, fun, and on your terms. Use our tools, know your limits, and reach out if you need support. 21+ only. PAGCOR regulated. We're here for you.
